Spring schedule: a fast, reliable start

Spring decides the season: early spring pruning, planting, starter feed, refreshing the mulch and setting up a good watering regime. FAQ

What if spring is late?
Carry out the main pruning before budbreak; postpone it in prolonged cold. Planting with container-grown plants can be done in frost-free weather.
When should I move my rose in a pot outside after winter?
Gradually, once the risk of frost returning has passed; first in partial shade, then in full sun – spring unpacking.
